The district surrounding Batlow and Brindabella is rich in history and has an immensely diverse range of activities to keep all ages occupied and happy for hours.
Why not start by familiarizing yourself with the district and follow the Snowy Valleys Way by car or bike from Gundagai through to Tumbarumba and... If you have time, continue over the border into beautiful Beechworth www.snowyvalleysway.com.au.
A trip to the Tumut Region Visitor Information Centre is also very worthwhile www.visitnsw.com/town/Tumut/Tumut_Region_Visitor_Information_Centre/info.aspx. Here you will find information about local attractions including:
Adelong Falls and Wilson Ritchie Gold Battery - A historic gold crushing battery and river falls.
