Built in 1992, the house is constructed of western red cedar with pine lined walls and cedar bathrooms. Cathedral ceilings feature throughout the house giving it a distinct mountain lodge feel.
The main lounge features a Jotul open food fire complemented with a Braemar under floor central heating/cooling system that extends throughout the entire house including bedrooms.
There are three bedrooms: one king with a full ensuite, one queen and one bedroom with two king singles. These latter two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower, bath and two toilets. All mattresses are Sealy Posturepedic with pillow-top cushioning. Original 1880’s Australian cedar furniture feature in the elegant bedrooms.
Every room in the house has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors with fly screens. Elegant lined cream embossed chintz curtaining adorns all windows and sliding doors further complemented by cushioned pelmeting.
The rumpus room has a kng bed that can be split into 2 sing single beds on request.
A porta-cot is also available.
The kitchen is modern, extremely well equipped with large Westinghouse fridge/freezer, large St. George oven/grill and St George 4 x hotplate stove top. A Miele dishwasher, microwave, extra large Russell Hobbs toaster, Nespresso coffee maker with capsules, Russell Hobbs kettle, juicer and the list goes on. Basically, everything a gourmet cook could wish for is included in the kitchen including, crystal glassware and royal doulton crockery.
The dining room comprises a full cedar antique dining table with seating for 10 people in antique cedar velvet balloon back chairs. The breakfast table is also cedar with velvet balloon back chairs for 4. A baby highchair is also available.
Both bathrooms are extremely modern, clean and well appointed with full vanity and double basins and are fully heated.
